Accepting applications 2011 Global Student Leadership Program
Daegu Health College offers students the opportunity to undertake a challenging extra-curricula program in South Korea for a period of 9 days, from August 10 to 18, 2011.
Hutong School will have the opportunity to send 2 students to the program. Students will only have to cover the airfare (around 2500CNY round trip from Beijing), all other expenses will be covered (housing, meals, all activities,…).

2011 Global Student Leadership Program:
Centered on the theme “Meeting the Global Challenge: Creativity, Profession, and Humanity,” the program targets students who are interested to see their personal growth in inclusive environments and how student leadership can impact global issues and global change.
Lectures and discussions will be conducted in English and cover topics such as cultural diversity, inter cultural communication, and key problems in global communities. This program will also feature a variety of activities conducted outside the classroom to engage student leaders in student leadership projects and provide the opportunity to explore Korean culture.
Activities will include an introduction to the Korean traditional dance, cooking contest, volunteering, practicum according to their major, and field trips. At the closing ceremony of the program, students are required to make a group presentation or performance and will receive a certificate for the completion of the program.
