May 2014: Hutong School Expansion Continues
To continue with Hutong School's ongoing growth, the opening of new internship positions in the up and coming city of Chengdu, will now mark Hutong School as the only internship providing company offering placements in Beijing, Shanghai and Chengdu.
2014 has already been proving to be a very exciting year, following new partnerships formed with Chinese Institute, Paris and Chinaworks, Finland earlier this year. This is in addition to the opening of the Brussels branch in late 2013 which marked the beginning of Hutong School’s outside-of-China expansion. The extensions of Hutong School's services brought to Europe meet the demands for Chinese language programs, which are continuing to soar year by year.
Why Chengdu? Besides famously known as the home of China’s national icon, the giant panda, Chengdu is becoming more and more politically and economically influential. Brimming with culture with its 3,000-year history, the city is at the same time cosmopolitan and progressive.
