I hope you are all doing well. I'd like to post a little update on my week back in Beijing and how thing are going now that I am back.
So I started this week off working again from the office. It's been a good week, and a healthy one! This is because there was a national conference in Beijing so the factories were shut down to a minimum. Now however the conference is over and they are all running double time. So the pollution is reaching high levels again!
This week I've been busy preparing my business presentation about the project I am going to work on for the coming weeks. It's been a lot of work, but it's been real fun to prepare and tomorrow I will finally start with this project!
Next to work I have had some fun this week as well! We've been celebrating the birthday of one of the HS students, I went out with an group called InternsInBeijing, meeting new face and new cool people! We went to a restaurant to eat Peking Duck with a large group.. All kinds of fun things to do in a casual week of work!
I've also taken on private classes for Chinese instead of group classes. I've had my first class yesterday and I can already say I am learning much faster than I would have in group classes. The teacher is very friendly and strict, so I've finally got some homework to do! Yay, now I will be able to improve my Chinese better and faster! Well that's pretty much it for this week!
Good bye everyone and hope to hear from you soon :)
Things to look forwards to:
- New project
- Welcome Party for new arrivals
- New flatmate soon!
- Starting volunteer work next week!
- Enjoying more of China!
