General Internship Information


Daily Tasks

- Event planning, design and production within time limits
- Working with AFCHAM members to identify their needs and ensure the event fits their re-quirements
- Organizing facilities and details such as decor, ca-tering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promo-tional material etc.
- Conduct market research, gather information and negotiate contracts prior to closing any deals
- Conduct pre- and post – event evaluations and report on outcomes


Requirements

- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Sales skills and ability to build productive busi-ness relationships
- Ability to manage multiple projects inde-pendently
