For Design & Photography interns, it is not necessary to do both Photography and Design, depending on your relevant expertise you can focus either in Design related work or Photography related work.
- Assist with Online Marketing
The intern will be in charge of helping the marketing team to design promotional ads that can be used online. For example the company often runs promotional campaigns and free giveaways on the Chinese version of Twitter called weibo as well as the Chinese Ecommerce site called Taobao.
- Print Materials Design
The company likes to update its print materials including brochures, flyers, posters etc, you will be working directly with the CEO who has agency experience at Ogilvy China as Senior Art Director, who will give you guidance in the design work.
- Website/WeChat Store Updating
The intern will also help with updating the website and WeChat store we needed. This may involve creating new promotional images, adding products, building new pages or back-end maintenance.
- Developing In-store Promotional materials
The intern will also be responsible for developing handouts and other materials for means of in-store promotion. For example promotion of products can also be done through display ads, buy 1 get 1 free promotions, etc.
- Product Photography
The company is a natural products company and has a database for product photos. You would work on improving and updating the database, taking new photos in the company's Photo Studio and doing cropping and retouching in Photoshop.
- Office administration support
The administrative work supports the company’s day-to-day operations. As needed the intern will help the administrative work in the company as related to design and photography. Examples of this can assist in printing promotional materials, finding outside photo-studios other design related admin work.
- Involved with the day to day operations of the Office
The company's main efforts in Beijing are with marketing and sales. The intern will have a chance to get involved with the company's team members. This will be a great chance to use any Chinese knowledge you mace have. Examples of this work can be ingoing and outgoing deliveries, assisting in preparing orders, participating in company events for marketing and sales and other work as assigned.
- Exhibitions and Expos
The company often participates in Green Food, Food shows or community Expos and events. The Intern will help out in company events and exhibitions. There may be a few days on the weekend in this case that the intern can exchange for a weekday. This is a team event, and a good chance to learn about our products, company and interact with the community.
- Other tasks as assigned during internship
Interns are expected to deliver a high quality of work and professionalism. The company provides an excellent environment for interns to thrive and grow their skill sets. Over a 4-6 month period we expect high levels of achievement.

- Relevant Studio Art, Photography or Design Degree
- Design or Photography work experience is mandatory
- Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator or basic Studio Photography is required
- At least going into 3rd year university
- Relevant degree, or training

- Good attitude, and ready to contribute
- Self Starter, can do tasks independently and a produce good level of results
This internship position offers an allowance from 1000 to 1700 CNY.
