-The Translator leads and monitors the translation team to ensure a high level of service. Conducts business, cultural and technical research as required and is responsible for advising senior management on cultural and business nuances and language usage.
-Requires handling sensitive, confidential and non-public business related plans, proposals, terms, contracts and other material, as well as interacting with the highest level of executives and dignitaries.
-Responsible for vendor partnership through the maintenance of the bilingual language database for the translation team based on established phrases, terminology and word usage.
-Communicate with the client to receive enquires and brief the team for
-Performs other duties as assigned.
-Strong oral and written skills English and Chinese
-Excellent skills in interpreting and translation
-Focused, efficient and ability to work under pressure with high volume workloads and/or complex situations
-Strong organization skills, detail oriented and ability to multi-task;
-Knowledge of various levels of business entities and government agencies in specified China
-Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment with a willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays
-Ability to prioritize effectively, think independently and use discretion and good independent judgment in problem solving to effectively meet deadlines
-Preferably an extended knowledge of entertainment business / leisure / tourism /movies / pop-culture.
-Ability to work in a deadline oriented environment.
