Daily Tasks

The interns will be involved in the China Dream project, whether directly through policy research and workshop management or in one of the projects that has evolved out of the China Dream Project. This includes a new sustainable food program “A New Way to Eat” where we teach sustainability to primary students through their stomachs.

You may also work on research for some mayoral training programs, which have previously featured smart grid, waste management, eco-tourism, pollution and climate resilient cities. The research you produce will be used in curriculum during the training classes which take place bi-annually. The mayors who take part are from provinces all across China.


Experience with graphic design highly desired
Detail oriented, strong primary, secondary and on-line research skills
Strong communications skills, comfortable working in team
Previous international exposure/experience preferred
Fluent in English, Chinese is a plus
Graduate candidates will be prioritized
Creative, autonomous and passionate

Additional Information

Depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience the internship might be extended.

This internship is a great opportunity to be involved in large-scale sustainability and environmental projects while working with very knowledgeable and driven people.

Full-time candidates preferred, part-time candidates considered.
