Why trust the Hutong School

The Beijing Hutong School is the first Chinese language school under foreign management officially licensed by the Chinese Ministry of Education. Over the years, we have built up a reputation for high quality teaching and, in addition to hundreds of private students, have had students from embassies, Chambers of Commerce, prestigious MBA programs, etc. During the Olympic games, in the summer of 2008 the wife of Mr. Jacques Rogge - President of the IOC - came to the Hutong School for a crash course of the Chinese language.

No payment before arrival at Hutong School

You only have the pay the program fees after arrival so that you can make sure that the Hutong School really exists. Unlike many other providers, we do not charge any application fees and don’t require any payment in advance for our basic services.

An International Team

Representatives from France, the United States, Germany, Cuba and The Netherlands help you to find your way and feel at ease in Beijing. All our employees speak fluent Chinese, have several years of experience in China and most of them did internships in Beijing themselves.

Our service starts immediately after your arrival at Beijing Airport

As soon as you arrive at Beijing Capital Airport, there will be a Hutong School employee to take care of you. We will bring you to your apartment, which you share with other Hutong School students. We also bring you to the Hutong School courtyard where you will get an orientation course and get introduced to fellow students. If you so choose, we will set you up with a mobile phone and local number in Beijing, allowing you to be in touch right away with your new peers. On your first working day, we accompany you to your company to introduce you to your employer.

Among our partner companies are world renowned companies such as Lenovo, Lehman, Lee & Xu, the Benelux Chamber of Commerce and many other Chinese and international companies in Beijing.

Cooperation with universities

Among the universities cooperating with the Hutong School are the Ludwigs-Maximilian-University of Munich (Germany), the Brussels Institute for Contemporary Chinese Studies (Belgium) and the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (China). We are continuously looking for suitable partner institutions all over the world, aiming to link their young and talented students with companies in Beijing and provide them with high quality education in Chinese language.

All of your personal data, which is sent to us during the application process, will be treated as strictly confidential and used solely for the purpose of your application for an internship in one of our partner companies. Your personal data, such as email address, passport information, CV and telephone numbers, will not be passed on to any third party who is not involved in the internship placement process.
