Authentic China immersion

Cultural activities are held in one of our beautiful schools in either the business center of Beijing, or in the picturesque Former French Concession area in Shanghai. We also organize excursions outside the city to discover China's various faces. We have close links with charity activities helping to understand China below the surface.

Accommodation in modern apartments

Conveniently located in prime locations, your apartment is fully furnished and equipped with Western amenities, phone, TV, DVD-player, and 24/7 Wifi broadband access.
 

Chinese classes (6 hours/week)

Hutong School uses an innovative teaching method that is especially adapted to Western students. It allows the students to quickly develop oral communication skills while laying strong foundations for remembering Chinese characters.

We emphasize a personalized approach; one-on-one level assessment and study plan, with an average of 4-5 students per class.
 

In order to guarantee you a smooth and safe stay, we offer you the following when you arrive in China:
- Someone to welcome you at the airport and take you back to your new apartment
- Orientation and introduction 
- 24 hour emergency support line
- Mobile phone, SIM card, and transportation card
- Support with Chinese visa application, registration in China, travel inquiries, ticket booking, etc.
