During July and August 2008, the Beijing Hutong School offers you a choice of three Summer Programs with a duration of two weeks each. During your stay in Beijing we offer a unique combination of accommodation, Chinese classes and leisure activities in the capital of the Middle Kingdom and host of the Olympic Games.

Our enriching program includes the following services:

4 hours of Chinese classes a day, for 10 days. Learn conversational Chinese in 40 class hours. (All teaching materials included)
Extensive sightseeing to Beijing's major attractions such as The Great Wall, the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, etc... (all transport and ticket expenses included)
Exciting evening activities and dinners such as Beijing Duck, Acrobatics, Kung Fu show, etc... (all expenses included)
Airport pickup
Accommodation with continental breakfast incl.

We offer our specially designed and diverse Beijing 2008 Summer Program at the beneficial price of 990 Euro in July and 1290 EUR in August.

In addition, we offer optional services to make your stay as flexible as possible, all subject to availability:

Arrive early - Leave late, if you give us at least one month notice we can arrange for your early arrival or late departure at a surcharge of 59 EUR/day in a double room and 98 EUR/day in a single room.
Single room, you can book a single room for a surcharge of 490 EUR for the two weeks
Study more, we can arrange additional Chinese private classes at a surcharge of 15 EUR/hour

Schedule

The Beijing 2008 Summer Program will be held on three occasions, from the 12th till 26th of July, from the 2nd till 16th of August and from the 16th till 30th of August. Have a look at the entire schedule day by day.

Language Classes

During the Beijing 2008 Summer Program you will learn basic conversational Chinese in a total of 40 teaching hours, 4 x 45 minutes a day for 10 days.

Accommodation

Accommodation for the Beijing 2008 Summer Program is different from the accommodation for our Internship and Intensive Chinese program. Participants of the July Program will stay at the Beijing Science and Technology University, right in the educational heart of Beijing. Participants of the August Programs will stay at the Beijing Radio and Television University, just a quick subway ride from the Olympic village.

Visa Information

All foreigners entering China are required to have a visa issued by the Chinese authorities. The Beijing Hutong School will assist you with the process.

Payment

The price for the Beijing 2008 Summer Program is 990 € in July and 1290 € in August. It includes all Chinese classes (including teaching materials), accommodation, continental breakfast, excursions (including transport and ticket expenses), special dinners and evening activities and airport pick up. 35% of your payment has to be carried out within 10 days of your confirmation on the program of your choice using the bank details you will receive together with your enrolment form.
