Daily tasks:

- Design and develop new Android and J2ME Applications.
- Release new versions of Applications as new devices and OS's are released to the marketplace.
- Enhance application performance, usability, memory use and application size.

Requirements:

- Able to create excellent code - applicants must write correct, clean and efficient codes. He/she must be able and willing to learn any programming language.
- Creative and analytical - applicant must be a great problem solver, with the ability to dive deeply into complex problems and emerge with clear and pragmatic solutions.
- Passion – applicant must have passion for what he/she does. Involvement in Open Source projects or a portfolio of his/her hobby projects is a big plus.
- Excellent command of Java. Previous J2ME/Android experience is a plus, but not required.
- Experience with Python/Django or iPhone would be a big plus.
- Excellent English - the intern will be speaking, reading and writing English on a daily basis. Most of their customers are based abroad,so communication will be in English.
- Adaptability and team work - The intern will be involved in every steps of the development process, design, coding, bug fix, user interface ...
- Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science (Software engineering).
- Excellent work ethic and attention to detail.
- Very organized.
- Fast learner.

The company is a small international technology company specialized in developing products & services for Mobile Payment (let you pay taxi/subway with your mobile, purchase something in a shop and pay with your phone). They work with big customers like China Mobile, Nokia, Taiwan Mobile, Borqs (播思), …
Their products are mobile applications working on various phones (Nokia, Sony ericsson, HTC, iPhone …). The intern will be working in a startup environment with a multi-cultural team and will be using cutting edge technologies (Java virtual machine design, SIM card application, Web Server, payment system ...).
Their office is conveniently located near public transportation (5mn walk from ChaoYangMen metro station).
